Welcome to the Manahawkin NJ Elks Lodge #2340
Thank you for your inquiry about Membership in our Lodge! We have proudly been in existence for over 50 years. We currently have over 700 members and we are very active supporting our community and the NJ State Elks Association - Southeast District.
We would like to give you a tour of our Lodge. We would prefer to meet you in person and show you around. However, if you cannot make the trip and want a virtual tour, please review the content, here on our website.
In addition to a social club, we offer Wednesday lunches and Friday night dinners prepared by our many member volunteers. Additionally, we have a shuffle board league, weekly bingo, Sunday football and many social events to get us all together to raise funds for our charities and Lodge building and grounds maintenance.
Our Lodge is heavily based on Elks tradition, following the customs designed by our Fore Fathers 150 years ago - link to Grand Lodge History. Our Lodge’s history is also documented and can be found at the following link Lodge History.
Most important to us are the words “Elks Care, Elks Share”. Being the largest charitable organization in our community, our mission is to support many programs that encourage growth, education, drug awareness training, local scholarships, special children and veterans assistance. Since our inception, our Lodge has donated nearly $4 million dollars to our community.
